These services include Design, Engineering, Rapid Prototyping, Reverse Engineering, Inspection, Multi-axis CNC Machining and CNC Laser cutting and etching. The company specializes in advanced 3D technologies which enables us to provide results such as high quality prototypes, production machined parts, tooling ready design data, and solutions across various industries.

Beartown was founded in the Virkus family garage on Beartown Road near Corning, NY in 1999. In 2004, we outgrew the garage and moved to our current location in East Corning. Today, Beartown consists of a small group of talented engineers, machinists, and technicians who can develop your concept into a viable product, or enhance existing ones. Our skills and experience can be applied at any point in the new product development process.

Our 40 plus years of combined Product Development experience, including 15 years of Reverse Engineering projects, provides expertise to merge the latest technology with inspired design, giving superior solutions on time and on budget.

Our prototype and tooling development results are used in a variety of activities. These include: sales samples at major industry trade shows, packaging photography, management presentations, product testing and market research. Our highly accurate inspection equipment and techniques provide confident results to all that we do. In addition, members of the company are current holders of design patents as a result of our involvement in these projects.
